Nat Parry is an activist, researcher, writer and student originally from the DC area. He received a bachelor’s degree in history from George Mason University in 1999, receiving the “Best Senior Seminar Paper” award for his thesis on the role of the radical labor movement in the passage of workers’ compensation laws in the early 20th century. Since graduating, he has held various policy-related positions and has written dozens of articles on international affairs and domestic politics for publications such as In These Times, Foreign Policy In Focus, and Consortiumnews.com. Nay worked as a Legislative Assistant at Public Citizen, where he specialized in civil justice issues, before moving to Copenhagen, Denmark where he worked as a Research Assistant at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. In 2004, he coordinated the official election observation mission of the OSCE when it dispatched sixty parliamentarians to observe the US election. Nat is a Communications Specialist for the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy, and is currently working towards a master’s degree in international politics at George Mason University. |
